Aluminum Alloy
FEATURES: These economical custom blank tooling blocks are stocked as unmachined blank castings, then quickly machined to your specifications. Available in three configurations: (1) Machined base with mounting holes, and machined faces (2) Machined base with mounting holes, and unmachined faces (3) Unmachined blank casting. One-piece cast aluminum alloy construction provides superior accuracy, dimensional stability, and vibration dampening. Made in USA.
SIZES: Available in a wide range of block sizes and heights (inch and metric) for pallet sizes from 300mm to 1000mm — see Dimensions page for part numbers.
OPTIONAL MACHINED BASE WITH MOUNTING HOLES: Available with standard JIS mounting holes (locating from two reference edges), standard DIN mounting holes (locating from center and radial holes), or any other mounting pattern. Please specify at time of order.
OPTIONAL MACHINED FACES: Available with all four tooling faces machined flat, square, and parallel to within .001" per foot. Please note: each face is machined .015" over nominal size to allow making a finish cut after mounting on your machine. If ordered with unmachined faces, the casting will have sufficient additional stock to allow finish machining to nominal size.
MATERIAL (ALUMINUM): A713 Tenzaloy aluminum alloy, aged to T-6 condition.
