MULTIPURPOSE HOLES
Every multipurpose hole on a tooling plate or block has a precision alignment bushing on top, with a threaded insert below it. Multipurpose holes will accept Locating Screws, socket-head cap screws, studs, and many other threaded components. The proper mounting screw for each component is listed in its table of dimensions. Locating screws are used to locate and fasten at the same time. Note: mini-size systems use a Locating Bushing together with a socket-head cap screw for extra strength, instead of a Locating Screw.
